Serco, a key contractor for Navy PORTS, seeks a Project Manager to lead simulation-based training system initiatives. The role requires coordinating with the Program Manager, customers, and technical teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. You will manage schedules, budgets, and deliverables under DoD standards.

Candidates should have 5+ years in management (P&L), DoD exposure, and strong MS Office/MS Project skills, plus a willingness to travel up to 10% in support of program objectives.

Qualifikationen

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaise between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
