Job summary

MANTECH seeks a highly experienced and mission-driven Mechanical In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Technician to join our team at JEB Little Creek Virginia Beach, VA. This is an onsite position that requires active DoD clearance.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, inspections, and sustaining critical shipboard equipment, conducting surveys and validations, and ensuring lifecycle data is captured for maintenance and modernization programs.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with DoD or Navy engineering/support programs is preferred.
• Active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair boat systems and equipment onsite.
• Conduct boat surveys and validate BOATALT and LAR systems.
• Support configuration control and update technical documentation.
• Assist with shipboard installations and validation events.
• Track lifecycle data and provide crew familiarization with new systems.
• Identify parts replacements and drive process improvements for availability.
