Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience
• Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years experience
• Familiar with ship specifications and a working knowledge of ship mechanical construction

Responsibilities

• Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Utilizes CAD/CAM tools and coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups.
• Supports the LHA program through field engineering machinery initiatives and manufacturing collaboration.
