Job summary

Shell in Houston seeks a Senior Commercial Operator/Natural Gas Scheduler to lead complex gas scheduling and operations for Shell Energy Americas in the South US markets. The role requires directing multi-system activities, optimizing transportation, storage, and capacity, and mentoring schedulers.

You will work with cross-functional teams, manage high-stakes events, and provide on-call support as needed while ensuring operational excellence and risk reduction across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of natural gas scheduling experience.
• Experience scheduling South US region pipelines preferred.
• Knowledge of ICE Chat, Excel, and ETRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the most complex scheduling portfolios, transportation paths, storage assets, and customer arrangements across multiple systems and pipelines.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex scheduling, pipeline, customer, and system issues.
• Lead testing, implementation, and training for system enhancements and process changes.
