Job summary

Koch Energy Services is seeking a Senior Natural Gas Scheduler to join the Koch Energy Team in Houston, TX. You will collaborate with traders, analysts, and pipeline partners to develop and execute scheduling strategies ensuring timely delivery across the U.S. and Canada.

You will monitor market conditions, manage nominations and confirmations, maintain contracts, and support on-call rotations during non-business hours to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of natural gas scheduling experience.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Willing and able to participate in an on-call rotation and provide support during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders, analysts, and other stakeholders to develop and execute natural gas scheduling strategies that align with our trading objectives.
• Partner with third-party pipeline operators, storage providers, and transportation companies to ensure the timely and reliable delivery of natural gas.
• Monitor and analyze market conditions, pipeline capacities, storage inventory levels, and transportation rates to optimize scheduling decisions and maximize profitability.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transportation contracts, nominations, confirmations, and scheduling activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve scheduling discrepancies, operational issues, and contract disputes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support during nights, weekends, holidays, and other non-business hours as required to meet operational needs.

Our Team

This role will be based in Houston, TX and will be part of one of sevenregional teams supporting natural gas operations across the U.S. and Canada.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with traders, analysts, and other stakeholders to develop and execute natural gas scheduling strategies that align with our trading objectives.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience building relationships and becoming a preferred partner to customers.
• Experience working with pipeline nominations, confirmations, imbalances, and transportation contracts.
