Job summary

The Koch Energy Team is seeking a Senior Natural Gas Scheduler to join our team in Houston, TX. This role will be based in Houston and will support natural gas operations across the U.S. and Canada.

Key responsibilities include developing scheduling strategies with traders, coordinating with pipeline operators and storage providers, and monitoring market conditions to maximize profitability. On-call hours during nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of natural gas scheduling experience.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and provide support during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders, analysts, and other stakeholders to develop and execute natural gas scheduling strategies that align with trading objectives.
• Partner with pipeline operators, storage providers, and transportation companies to ensure timely and reliable delivery of natural gas.
• Monitor market conditions, pipeline capacities, storage inventory levels, and transportation rates to optimize scheduling decisions and profitability.
• Maintain records of transportation contracts, nominations, confirmations, and scheduling activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve scheduling discrepancies, operational issues, and contract disputes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support during nights, weekends, holidays, and other non-business hours as required.
