Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute seeks a seasoned Research Engagement Manager for the Advanced Concepts Laboratory (ACL). The role bridges cutting-edge research with strategic stakeholder engagement to translate concepts into sponsor-ready solutions.

The position supports collaboration across GTRI labs and Georgia Tech academic units, MSIs, industry, and government partners, with a focus on program development, technical communications, and student opportunities.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, or related technical field.
15–20+ years of related experience for open-rank levels; higher with PhD.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage collaborative research between ACL/GTRI and Georgia Tech units, MSIs, industry and government sponsors.
Plan, implement, and manage Technical Communications to promote research and technology.
Foster technical communities of interest and support interdisciplinary collaboration across GTRI laboratories and Georgia Tech units.
Develop student research programs such as graduate fellowships and internships.
Support proposal development through writing, coordination, and review.
