Job summary

Wilson Elser is seeking a National Litigation & Claims Management Attorney in our Boston office. The role involves handling a nationwide litigation caseload with emphasis on discovery strategy, multi-jurisdictional matters, and national claims oversight.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in at least one state.
• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling multi-jurisdictional litigation and/or national claims programs preferred.
• Background in transportation, logistics, trucking, or related regulatory frameworks preferred.
• Familiarity with emerging e-commerce or gig economy legal issues is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
• Strong client counseling and relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced technical proficiency with litigation and discovery tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a nationwide litigation caseload from inception through resolution in a fast-moving environment
• Conduct thorough investigations and proactively spot discovery issues unique to each case
• Develop and craft strategic discovery responses tailored to individual cases while ensuring alignment with overarching national litigation strategies
• Continuously monitor and evaluate discovery processes to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation
• Manage and continuously improve a national claims program, identifying efficiencies and scalable solutions
• Partner closely with attorneys, partners, and client to develop case strategy and discovery plans
• Collaborate across offices and practice groups to deliver seamless, team-oriented service
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, emerging legal issues, and evolving client needs
