Job summary

Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a senior cost estimator with extensive aerospace/government experience to develop life cycle cost estimates for NASA programs.

You will apply cost estimating and systems engineering to build, document, and present analyses using ACEIT, SEER, NICM, PCEC, and related tools. The role requires strong communication and quantitative skills, ability to work with NASA officials and prime contractors, and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Eight years in government/aerospace cost estimating or systems engineering.
• Experience supporting NASA programs with cost estimating focus.
• Familiar with major estimating tools: PCEC, NICM, SEER, PRICE TruePlanning, MOCET, LSOCM, ACEIT.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal/written communication and quantitative analysis.
• Capable of cost/price analysis, WBS development, risk analysis; security clearance eligible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Life Cycle Cost estimates for NASA programs/missions.
• Understand cost estimating and systems engineering in practice.
• Create, document, and present estimates using listed tools and validate models.
• Collaborate with NASA officials and prime contractors as needed.
