Job summary

Empire State Development is seeking a Senior Certification Analyst in Albany or New York City to review certification applications from Minority and Women-owned Businesses (MWBs) under the statewide program. You will assess eligibility, conduct interviews and site visits, and prepare reports on ownership and operational control.

You will also assist recently certified firms with contract opportunities and ensure program compliance through rigorous analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in contract compliance or related programs.
• Experience in development and administration of MWBE programs.
• Ability to conduct interviews and site visits, and prepare reports on ownership and operational control.
• Educational substitutions per the ad are allowed.
