Job summary

Nidec is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead design and execution of medium voltage inverter programs across global teams. You will drive technical decisions, oversee complex subsystems, and ensure performance, safety, and quality targets are met.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence across functions.

Responsibilities

Lead design, analysis, and development of complex MV inverter systems.
Define testing, validation, and verification strategies for engineering solutions.
Review and approve technical designs, calculations, and documentation.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, operations, and service teams to enable deployment.
Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement of processes and standards.
