Job summary

Luxoft, a DXC technology company, seeks a senior Murex Front Office specialist to support and enhance Murex deployments. The role focuses on FO pricing, valuation, and curve management across IRD/EQD/CRD instruments within a fast-paced capital markets environment.

The candidate will liaise with technical teams, drive business requirements, and participate in testing cycles, with emphasis on global regulatory updates and day-to-day FO deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Resolve daily FO issues on the functional, valuation, and pricing
• Validate pricing/valuation of financial products on Finastra Fusion Invest (incl. sensitivities and VaR)
• Liaise with technical teams to resolve FO issues and enhancements
• Develop FO Business requirements per stream and project needs
• Yield Curve management, curve assignments, and new curve creation
• Manage day-to-day project tasks to complete FO deliverables
• Support FO users and resolve their daily requests
• Follow-up on new market regulations/practices globally
• Perform testing for deliverables and participate in SIT/UAT

Job description

We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset classes and sectors, including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.

Responsibilities:

• As part of an embedment team, candidates will learn the Murex application while performing the following responsibilities:
• Resolve daily FO issues on the functional, valuation, and pricing
• Validate pricing and valuation of financial products being implemented on Finastra Fusion Invest (including sensitivities and VaR)
• Liaise with the technical team(s)—when needed—to resolve FO-related issues and necessary enhancements
• Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to project needs as they come along
• Yield Curve management and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation
• Products (IRD, CRD, EQD) management and validation
• Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables
• Contribute and assist existing support group(s) in resolving requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
• Analyze, formulate, propose, develop, and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables
• Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally
• Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables, as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Very strong product knowledge in IRD, EQD, and CRD
• Equity derivatives knowledge. Few key instruments: Portfolio Swaps, Bond Swaps (knowledge will be a huge plus!)
• Very strong understanding of the P&L concept overall and its components
• Very strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, simulations, and trade life cycle
• Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally
• Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues

Must:

• 5+ years of experience on Murex with FO functionalities/module
• Experience in financial markets
• Must have a strong personality and logical and analytical skills
• Be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong organizational skills

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• BS or higher degree in Finance, Mathematics or equivalent
