Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of water and wastewater design experience.
• Professional Engineer Registration in Pennsylvania (or ability to reciprocity).
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles for municipal water systems.
• Ability to write specs and prepare bidding packages.
• Strong project scheduling and cost estimation skills.
• Ability to interpret local and national codes and standards.
• Mentoring and people-management experience.
• Business development and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project management from proposal development to technical oversight.
• Perform engineering planning, design, and studies for water and wastewater utilities.
• Prepare bidding documents with plans, specs, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Determine design criteria per standards and codes for water facilities.
• Design site developments, roads, water distribution, sewer systems, and drainage.
• Review drawings, calculations, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior engineers and drafters.
• Develop and manage client relations to ensure project delivery.
