Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5–8 years of related work experience.
• Ability to manage municipal projects and coordinate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager for one or more municipalities or public agencies, serving as single point of contact.
• Develop or implement engineering solutions to improve infrastructure.
• Design transportation, utility, facility, or hydraulic systems using CAD tools.
• Compute load, water flow, or material stress to determine design specs.
• Estimate quantities and costs for materials, equipment, or labor.
• Analyze surveys, maps, drawings, or geologic data.
• Attend public meetings and present project status reports.
• Provide technical advice on design, construction, or capital programs.
• Support field activities of construction inspection staff.
