Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a full-time Senior Municipal Engineer in West Des Moines, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of civil engineering design experience. Responsibilities include preparing technical reports, modifying public works project plans, and ensuring projects stay within budget. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of civil engineering design experience preferred/desired.
• Iowa PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year preferred.
• Experience with roadway, storm sewer, sanitary collection sewers, and water distribution design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
• Modify plans, specifications, construction schedules, permits, and estimates for public works projects.
• Assist Project Manager in completing projects within budget and on schedule.
