Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions in the United States seeks an experienced MUMPS Developer to design, build, and support healthcare applications built on MUMPS platforms such as Cache/IRIS and HealthShare.

You will work with HL7/FHIR interfaces, Epic Chronicles, VistA, and other healthcare systems, perform debugging and optimization, and contribute to SDLC with QA and documentation.

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years MUMPS experience required; knowledge of SQL and healthcare interoperability essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on MUMPS development
• Experience with InterSystems Cache/IRIS or other MUMPS databases
• Strong knowledge of MUMPS programming, globals, routines, and database concepts
• Experience with SQL and relational database technologies
• Understanding of HL7, FHIR, EDI, or healthcare interoperability standards
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain MUMPS-based applications.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot MUMPS routines, globals, and database structures.
• Support healthcare systems utilizing MUMPS technologies such as InterSystems Cache/IRIS, Epic, VistA, or HealthShare.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain interfaces using HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare integration standards.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and system optimization.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Create technical documentation and provide production support.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
