Job summary

Toole Design Group is looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our Providence team, focusing on sustainable multimodal transportation design. This role involves leading impactful projects, mentoring team members, and collaborating with industry experts to improve community spaces.

The ideal candidate has over 10 years of transportation engineering experience and a Professional Engineer license. We offer a competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $160,000 along with excellent benefits including a flexible hybrid schedule and 16 days of annual PTO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation engineering experience, with project or task management experience.
• Basic understanding of roadway design principles and MUTCD standards.
• Strong knowledge of signal timing and phasing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate on multimodal transportation projects.
• Develop creative solutions for urban streetscapes and roadway improvements.
