Job summary

Foresight Asset Management, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our accounting team and oversee the financial operations for a portfolio of properties. You will prepare monthly statements, manage cash flow, and support AP and utility accounting.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of property management accounting experience, proficiency in RealPage, strong Excel skills, and a solid grasp of GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years accounting experience, ideally within property management or real estate.
• Proficiency in RealPage or other property management software.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements with supporting schedules.
• Review general ledger activity for accuracy and proper classification.
• Reconcile bank accounts, security deposits, and reserve accounts monthly.
• Analyze financial results, identify variances, and communicate findings to management.
• Coordinate with operations and ownership for cash flow and funding priorities.
• Support year-end audit preparation and provide requested documentation.
