Job summary

frēijē Engineered Solutions Company in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Multi Family Plumbing Foreman to lead and supervise plumbing crews on multi-family construction projects, plan daily and weekly activities, and ensure code-compliant installations.

You will read drawings, coordinate with general contractors, troubleshoot issues, mentor journeymen, maintain safety and quality, and maintain accurate reports while upholding freije’s core values.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial or multi-family plumbing experience.
• Experience leading crews or acting as foreman or lead plumber.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, drawings, and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and supervise plumbing crews on multi-family construction projects.
• Plan daily and weekly work activities to meet production schedules and milestones.
• Read, interpret, and execute construction drawings, specifications, and job scopes.
• Coordinate work with general contractors, other trades, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Ensure installations meet quality standards, local codes, and project requirements.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and provide corrective direction to crews.
• Verify materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly used.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.
• Complete daily reports, time tracking, material usage, and progress documentation.
• Train, mentor, and develop journeymen and apprentices with clear expectations.
• Promote teamwork and a positive jobsite culture reflecting Freije’s values.
• Serve as Freije’s primary field representative on assigned projects and communicate with customers.
• Address issues promptly with a solutions-focused mindset while protecting reputation.
