Job summary

Envolve Communities seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Nashville Christian Towers in Nashville, TN. The role oversees all facility and maintenance activities for a high-rise property, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, and requires 8–10 years of experience.

Elevators and generators experience is preferred. The position involves training staff, responding to emergencies 24/7, and performing preventive maintenance and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of maintenance experience.
• HVAC and EPA certifications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Previous multifamily experience.
• Experience with high‑rise apartments preferred.
• Experience with elevators and generators preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of facility and maintenance equipment.
• Be experienced and knowledgeable about maintenance assigned to the property.
• Train other maintenance personnel on the property.
• Perform on-site basic repairs (HVAC, appliances, water heaters, electrical, plumbing, and other equipment).
• Be available for emergency maintenance calls 24/7.
• Perform minor carpentry duties.
• Carry out preventive maintenance (winterizing, HVAC inspections, pool equipment, pool chemical balance, idle unit power-down).
• Train and supervise maintenance staff and inspect work quality.
• Conduct joint interviews with Community Manager for maintenance applicants.
• Handle administrative duties: recording requests, proper forms, inventory of parts.
• Move heavy equipment safely using proper tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
