Qualifications

• HVAC Certification is required.
• EPA Universal Certification or EPA Type I & II required.
• 3–5+ years of multifamily maintenance experience, including supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, and building systems.
• Experience leading, training, and developing maintenance teams.
• Experience managing vendors, service contracts, and maintenance budgets.

Responsibilities

• Operate and ensure proper performance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.
• Develop and supervise daily activities of the maintenance team, planning schedules and assigning tasks.
• Complete maintenance requests per leasing staff, adhering to safety and privacy guidelines.
• Inspect apartments before/after move-ins and turnovers.
• Perform regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness and identify issues.
• Negotiate and manage service contracts; obtain bids from outside contractors.
• Prepare, execute, and monitor maintenance budget and expenses.
• Review invoices and communicate maintenance function to property management.
