Job summary

The role requires 3–5 years of multi-family/commercial estimating experience, proficiency in reading architectural drawings, and strong math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience with multi-family/commercial estimating.
• Proficiency in hand-done material take-offs.
• Experience reading architectural/engineered drawings.
• Experience with building codes and standards.
• Framing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a detailed list of material estimates from drawings for purchasing and field construction.
• Estimate and submit proposals for approval by project stakeholders.
• Coordinate the project at various stages with shipping lists and field take-offs.
• Compile legible quotes for submission to clients and support teams.
• Assist other estimators and communicate with all organizational levels.
• Use Building Codes and product information to solve problems and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with estimating and project management to complete assignments on time.
