Job summary

Stiles, a Fort Lauderdale-based leader in commercial real estate, seeks a Sr. Construction Manager for multifamily and mixed-use development.

You will oversee complex projects from preconstruction to turnover, guiding the development team and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors. You will manage scheduling, budgeting, and procurement across multiple phases, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with Florida codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing institutional, multifamily, or mixed-use construction for owners/developers.
Experience with phased master-planned developments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead development team construction activities from preconstruction through final completion and turnover.
Collaborate with Owner, Architects, Engineers and Consultants to maximize constructability and cost efficiencies.
Participate with Contractor in budgeting, GMP negotiations, bid evaluations, and contract recommendations.
Manage General Contractors and all related consultants during all construction phases.
Monitor schedules, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to protect milestones.
Review budgets, contingency usage, change orders, and construction forecasts.
Review and approve monthly pay applications, lien releases, and contractor requisitions.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and utilities to maintain momentum.
