Job summary

Stiles in Fort Lauderdale seeks a Development Manager – Multifamily / Mixed-Use Development to drive complex residential and mixed‑use projects from concept to stabilization. You will collaborate with design, finance, approvals, construction, and asset teams to deliver phased master‑planned communities.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and scheduling skills. A Bachelor’s is required; a Master’s in real estate/finance is preferred, with 5–8 years in institutional multifamily

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s in real estate, finance, or related field preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience managing institutional, mid-rise or high-rise multifamily development projects.
• Strong leadership and collaboration abilities; experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating development master plans and phasing strategies.
• Lead project visioning, programming, and positioning including product type and market focus.
• Support planning of large multi-phase residential developments, coordinating phasing and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate entitlements, zoning, and governmental requirements with design.
• Review due diligence and site investigations.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets, schedules, and financial analyses.
• Coordinate approvals, permits, and occupancy certificates.
• Negotiate contracts with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants.
• Coordinate internal teams to align with pro forma and objectives.
• Assist construction pricing from estimates through GMP negotiations and oversee close-out.
• Prepare monthly partner/investor reports with accounting.
• Establish relationships with local trade and industry professionals to support development platform.
