Job summary

MPI Southern California is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee the field execution of large-scale multifamily and affordable housing developments. You will lead from groundbreaking through turnover, driving schedules, quality, and safety while coordinating trades to keep projects moving with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Superintendent on multifamily construction projects.
• Experience managing projects valued between $20M and $60M.
• Experience with affordable housing developments preferred.
• Experience leading podium, wrap, walk-up, or multi-building residential projects strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations from groundbreaking through project completion.
• Manage project schedules and drive daily production activities.
• Develop and maintain three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trade partners to ensure efficient workflow.
• Manage site logistics, sequencing, and project phasing.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and field coordination efforts.
• Maintain project quality standards and enforce safety requirements.
