Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for Multifamily Capital Projects to lead capital improvements and renovations across the Southeast. The role requires 10+ years of multifamily construction experience, a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and construction certifications, plus strong budgeting, scheduling, and vendor-management skills.

Travel is substantial: 50% in Atlanta and 50% Southeast US; you will coordinate with Regional Property Managers and manage bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong preference for construction certification(s), leadership development course completion.
• 10+ years of Multifamily Construction experience required in southeastern US.
• Strong preference for Class C renovations experience in multifamily capital projects.
• Travel onsite to construction projects: 50% Atlanta, 50% southeastern US travel required.
• Knowledge of pertinent building codes for assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Travel onsite to construction projects. 50% Atlanta, 50% southeastern US travel required.
• Assist the Director of Construction and manage all areas of projects for existing and new Multifamily clients.
• Manage all aspects of Multifamily construction projects: bids, contracting, pre-construction meetings, and progress documentation.
• Ensure code compliance with state regulations and EPA lead-based paint rules.
• Prepare and file permits and maintain project records and drawings.
• Track invoices, manage budgets, and monitor cash flow.
• Attend budget meetings and provide timely reports to management.
