Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance in plant environments. You will diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues, source parts, and implement repairs to keep factories running.

Travel is extensive (local, national, international). You will lead safety practices, document work in reports, train junior technicians, and support automation integrations with robust hands-on

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2-yr technical degree or equivalent with related experience preferred.
• Possesses understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and programming software.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identifies and sources parts and repair items; evaluates options to improve cost/reliability.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards and creates maintenance instructions.
• Directs customer counterparts in maintenance optimization and PM processes.
• Sets up and operates machining tools; may perform welding tasks.
• Follows safety policies and documents work in service reports and manuals.
• Trains and assists lower-level technicians and project teams.
• Diagnoses complex control systems and analyzes software/hardware issues.
• Collects equipment performance data and observes trends for improvements.
• Leads on-the-job training and technical program delivery for customers.
• Maintains awareness of hazardous conditions and safe work practices.
