Mittera in Reno, NV is seeking a Web Second Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will help set up and operate web presses, ensure color accuracy, meet customer specifications, and support the press crew to hit deadlines.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment that values ideas and internal mobility. 3–5+ years of multicolor web press experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator.
• Ability to lead and foster growth on the team.
• Knowledge of press set-up and maintenance procedures.
• Effective communications skills with all levels of the organization.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and safety oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain web presses and all auxiliary equipment.
• Interpret color bars, star targets, side guide marks and slur indicators to control print quality.
• Promote and sustain safety practices and seek improvements in operations.
• Program color standards into CPC for color adjustments.
• Achieve color OK to proofs.
• Collaborate with crew and shifts to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
