Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Enterprise Cloud Security Architect to lead cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP from Reston, VA. You will shape secure-by-design cloud and hybrid solutions, develop enterprise security standards, governance models, and multicloud reference architectures aligned with Booz Allen’s security strategy and modernization goals.

You will lead design reviews, guide engineering teams, and translate security strategies into cloud-agnostic architectural patterns

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise security architecture or cloud security.
• Experience integrating cybersecurity tools in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep).
• Knowledge of multicloud networking, segmentation, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Knowledge of cloud security controls, compliance and telemetry ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust and secure-by-design methodologies.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness for polygraph.
• Education aligned with the above degrees and years of IT project experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification or equivalent within 30 days.
• Ability to obtain CSSP-IS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture leadership across Booz Allen’s Enterprise cloud ecosystem.
• Lead architectural reviews ensuring alignment with reference architectures and controls.
• Guide engineering teams in secure-by-design cloud solutions and automation.
• Translate security strategies into cloud-agnostic patterns and reference architectures.
• Develop and maintain enterprise cloud governance models and standards.
