Qualifications

• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance or machine repair experience.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding cam-driven multi-spindle automatic screw machines.
• Strong mechanical power transmission knowledge: gears, cams, clutches, brakes, bearings, shafts.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints, manuals, schematics, and parts diagrams.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments: micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication systems.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting: three-phase motors and control circuits.
• Operate lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate/repair parts.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and safe work practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical failures.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Repair or replace spindles, bearings, clutches, gears, and other components.
• Disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and reassemble multi-spindle machines and major assemblies.
• Measure wear and determine reconditioning versus replacement.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain lubrication systems.
• Follow safety regulations, document repairs, and source replacement parts.
