Job summary

Swagelok Valley City, Ohio is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Level 3 technician to service multiple equipment types, solve issues with minimal assistance, and promote Rx principles.

You will work with cross-functional teams, lead shift start-up meetings, and support Reliability Excellence. Requires a high school diploma and 4+ years of maintenance experience; a technical degree can substitute for 2 years' experience; proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of applicable maintenance experience.
• Technical degree is equivalent to 2 years' experience.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to operate and successfully complete Swagelok internal equipment training.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and utilizes the proper hand tools.
• Follows Swagelok safety practices and PPE policies.
• Utilizes basic shop math.
• Understands the lean toolbox.
• Performs preventative maintenance per SOM’s.
• Provides maintenance welding and soldering support.
• Uses fabrication and machining equipment to construct components.
• Leads shift start up meeting.
• Promotes reliability excellence processes.
• Diagnoses mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
• Interprets electronic schematics and equipment blueprints.
• Applies troubleshooting across multiple asset types.
• Trains others in basic shielding and basic plumbing.
