Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Senior Service Manager to oversee facilities maintenance teams across Lobo Village and Casas del Rio in Albuquerque, NM, ensuring high maintenance standards and resident satisfaction.

You will lead, train, and develop staff, manage budgets and vendor relationships, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure safety compliance while reporting to the Director of Property Management.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred.
• 3-5 years’ proven mid to high-level tech experience in residential facilities maintenance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance teams across multiple properties to enhance resident experience, including efficient work orders, preventive maintenance, and vendor management.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members, cross-training for operational flexibility.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to direct reports.
• Collaborate on compensation adjustments for direct reports with HR and supervisor.
• Manage work order processes, on-call rotation scheduling, and vendor coordination.
