Mears Parkway Auto Group seeks an experienced Automotive Dealership Group Controller to oversee accounting across multiple locations. You will lead accounting personnel, ensure accurate financial records, and drive standardization of processes and controls across the dealer network.

The role requires a strong background in automotive dealership accounting, leadership, and the ability to deliver timely reporting and insights to ownership and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in automotive retail.
• Prior experience as a dealership Controller or multi-store accounting leader.
• Strong understanding of dealership financial statements, inventory accounting, and floorplan financing.
• Experience overseeing accounting operations across multiple locations.
• Proficiency with DMS, accounting software, and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple dealership locations.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end statements.
• Review balance sheets, income statements, and profitability by department.
• Analyze performance, identify trends, and communicate profitability opportunities.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for ownership and execs.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, expenses, and overall performance.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, GL, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure vehicle inventory, floorplan, and cost of sales are accurately posted.
• Maintain internal controls, policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead accounting managers and standardize processes across locations.
