Cogent Analytics is seeking an experienced accounting leader to own the monthly close across three entities and the parent, ensuring audit-ready reporting and clean intercompany accounting. You will manage inventory, COGS, and fixed assets while collaborating with leadership.

You'll map payroll and benefits using Gusto, and drive reporting with QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Power BI to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience.
• Inventory-intensive business experience; multi-entity accounting.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Own the full monthly close for all three entities and the parent.
• Prepare entity-level and consolidated financial statements with variance commentary.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly across all entities.
• Produce location-level revenue, gross margin, labor cost, and overhead reports.
• Maintain chart of accounts and consistent coding across entities.
• Own inventory accounting at serial-number level from receipt to installation.
• Relieve inventory to COGS monthly using order and invoice data.
• Coordinate periodic physical counts and investigate variances.
• Track warranty reimbursements and extended warranty costs.
