PTR Global is seeking a Senior Multi-Cloud Infrastructure and Security Architect in New York for a full-time contractor role. You will lead as SME for hybrid and multi-cloud initiatives across AWS and Azure, shaping secure, scalable cloud solutions and coordinating with security, networking, and on-prem teams.

The role emphasizes HA/DR planning, IaC and automated guardrails, and collaboration with the Cyber Security team to translate objectives into concrete configurations.

Qualifications

8+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure design and deployment.
Hands-on multi-cloud with AWS and Azure.
Strong networking foundations mapping to cloud constructs.
Automation-first mindset with IaC experience.
Pragmatic security knowledge and identity protocols.
Scripting in Python and Unix/Linux proficiency.

Responsibilities

Design and implement secure multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
Develop HA and DR topologies with automated failover.
Define IaC repositories and secure CI/CD pipelines.
Advise cyber security team translating security objectives into cloud configs.
Collaborate with on-prem teams to migrate workloads.
