Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud automation initiatives across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem environments. The role emphasizes scalable automation, secure traffic control, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years networking with at least 3 years in network automation.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Itential, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Strong networking concepts including VPCs/VNETs/VCNs, DirectConnect, ExpressRoute, VPNs, NGFWs.
• Hands-on with Arista Spine-Leaf (CloudVision) and Palo Alto firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage automated network infrastructure solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Develop automation scripts and frameworks using Itential, Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network automation strategies.
• Automate Spine-Leaf architecture for hybrid-cloud hosting.
• Develop automation builds to establish network security rules and traffic management.
• Develop automation builds for networking and security tools to ensure high availability and visibility.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on network automation best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in multi-cloud automation.
