Job summary

Vanguard’s Portfolio Review Department seeks a senior contributor to translate market data into strategic insights for its Multi-Asset Solutions group, shaping product direction at scale and collaborating with senior leaders across cross-functional teams.

You will lead end-to-end research projects, analyze investment and competitive considerations, and help evolve Vanguard's multi-asset offerings while building relationships across the organization and industry.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant experience, including at least three years in product strategy or investment analysis; multi-asset investment experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred.
• CFA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of investment, strategic, competitive, and client considerations relating to Vanguard’s multi-asset investment product line-up, using qualitative and quantitative data to inform recommendations.
• Partner with senior investment and business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to evaluate existing products and assess potential enhancements or new offerings.
• Analyze and structure complex datasets from internal and external sources, ensuring data quality and translating insights into clear implications for product strategy and development.
• Synthesize findings into actionable insights and present recommendations to senior management through concise memos and presentations.
• Lead multi-asset product research projects end-to-end, coordinating enterprise-wide partners, defining scope and timelines, and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization and within the broader industry to enhance perspective, insight generation, and research effectiveness.
• Develop and apply a deep understanding of asset-management industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive positioning to inform product decisions.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
