Job summary

Accenture in the United States (Cleveland area) seeks an experienced MuleSoft Architect to translate complex business requirements into scalable integration solutions. You will lead design, mentor teams, and advise stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

This role requires deep MuleSoft expertise, strong client-facing communication, and the ability to define patterns, ensure security, and deliver reusable APIs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years translating business requirements into architectures and implementation designs
• 7+ years client-facing advisory and strong communication skills
• 5+ years with integration architecture and connectivity patterns (JDBC, SOAP, REST, HTTP, JMS, File-Based)
• 4+ years hands-on MuleSoft experience as developer or architect
• MuleSoft certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
• 3+ years with MuleSoft architecture, API design, connectors and build components
• 3+ years with Anypoint Platform components (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Analytics, Design Center, Exchange)
• 6+ months experience with AI/GenAI tools for productivity and architecture documentation
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (12 years total)

Responsibilities

• Lead MuleSoft solution design and define integration architectures aligned with business outcomes
• Translate requirements into implementation designs using API-led connectivity patterns
• Recommend scalable MuleSoft patterns and development standards
• Advise stakeholders and delivery teams throughout design, build, test, deployment and support
• Guide implementation teams, review architecture, mentor MuleSoft professionals
• Support solutioning, scoping, effort estimates, and deployments
• Use AI/GenAI tools for architecture docs and prompting while ensuring quality and security
