Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Senior Developer in the United States to translate business requirements into scalable APIs and integrations. You will guide development teams, perform code reviews, and work directly with clients across the full software lifecycle.

The role emphasizes API-led connectivity, Anypoint Platform expertise, and mentoring junior developers while advancing AI-assisted development and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with API security, OAuth/JWT, and API troubleshooting.
• 4+ years MuleSoft development with Anypoint Platform and DataWeave.
• 3+ years API-led connectivity with Anypoint API Manager and Design Center.
• 3+ years Git, CI/CD, Agile delivery, and clear communication.
• 2+ years deploying on CloudHub or Runtime Fabric.
• 6 months experience with AI/GenAI tools for productivity and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support reusable MuleSoft APIs and integrations that follow enterprise standards and API-led connectivity patterns.
• Implement System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs using Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, DataWeave, connectors, modules, and platform services.
• Create technical specifications, contribute to solution design discussions, and support architects during architecture and design reviews.
• Serve as a senior technical contributor, conduct code and peer reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote consistent development practices.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests and ensure coding, security, documentation, quality, and governance standards are followed.
• Support CI/CD, releases, environment promotion, monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production incident resolution.
• Work directly with client stakeholders and collaborate with analysts, architects, Agile teams, and global delivery teams.
• Use AI and GenAI tools to accelerate development and documentation while validating generated code and artifacts for quality, security, and maintainability.
