Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Architect to translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable integration solutions. You will lead design reviews, guide delivery teams, and establish standards across the project lifecycle, while mentoring staff and ensuring secure, governed API ecosystems.

Travel 0–100% may be required depending on client needs. A strong focus on API-led connectivity, Anypoint Platform, and GenAI-enabled architecture will be essential to success

Qualifications

• Seven-plus years translating business requirements into architectures and leading reviews.
• Seven-plus years of client-facing advisory and strong communication skills.
• Five-plus years integrating applications with JDBC, SOAP, REST, HTTP/HTTPS, JMS, files.
• Four-plus years hands-on MuleSoft experience as developer or architect.
• MuleSoft certifications or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Three-plus years Anypoint Platform including API Manager, Runtime Manager, Analytics, Design Center, Exchange.
• Six months of AI/GenAI tooling for productivity, architecture docs, and prompt design.
• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent experience; if associate, 6+ years of work exp.

Responsibilities

• Lead MuleSoft solution design and define integration architectures aligned with business outcomes.
• Translate requirements into implementation designs using API-led connectivity and API patterns.
• Recommend scalable MuleSoft patterns, assets, environment strategies, and delivery best practices.
• Advise stakeholders and delivery teams through requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and support.
• Guide implementation teams, review architecture, and mentor less experienced MuleSoft professionals.
• Support solutioning, scoping, effort estimates, resource planning, deployments, and knowledge transfer.
• Use AI and GenAI tools for architecture documentation and solution analysis with quality checks.
