Job summary

BICO Drilling Tools, Inc. seeks a Mud Motor Technician III in Houston to assemble and disassemble mud motors used in drilling operations. You will apply mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and attention to detail to ensure safe, efficient motor operation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires fluency in English, teamwork, and adherence to QC and shipping procedures; forklift certification is preferred, and experience with Dynamics and BiMiner is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Min. 2 year experience with drilling tools is required.
• Forklift certified, preferred
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment
• Ability to comprehend production requirements
• Ability to speak, read, and write the English language fluently

Responsibilities

• Independently assemble bearing sections and complete motors.
• Recognize all power section models.
• Initiate and conclude assigned tasks promptly.
• Perform task-specific troubleshooting to improve safety and efficiency.
• Document assembly and disassembly service reports.
• Ensure quality control for disassembled motors.
