Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a hands-on Member of Technical Staff in Machine Learning & Agent Security Engineering to build scalable AI and agentic trust workflows within the Security organization. You will contribute to a platform for Security AI, applying tool calling, structured outputs, and state management in Python across public cloud environments.

The role emphasizes production systems, reliability, and collaboration with engineers to advance agentic AI capabilities in security engineering

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software engineering, machine learning engineering, or related development experience.
Strong hands-on programming skills in Python.
Solid software engineering fundamentals: data structures, APIs, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintainable design.
Experience building and operating production software, services, data-processing systems, or ML applications.
Experience with scale, performance, reliability, data volume, or concurrency.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and operate high-availability production AI and LLM agentic systems in Python across cloud environments.
Engineer high-throughput data-processing pipelines and automated security intelligence systems.
Own end-to-end implementation, testing, deployment, and production operation; ensure observability and resilience.
