Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a MSS Developer Engineer in Washington, DC to build mission-critical analytics and operator-facing dashboards on the Palantir stack.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision support, scalable platform engineering, and collaboration with mission leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions. You will design end-to-end data pipelines, ensure secure data foundations, and deliver visualizations that empower operators to monitor KPIs and explore scenarios

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or quantitative field; Palantir experience may substitute.
• 4+ years software or data engineering; 1.5+ years with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, AIP, or MSS.
• Experience building dashboards, apps, or data pipelines for operators.
• Proficiency in ontology design and pipeline authoring tools (PySpark, Repo/Pipeline Builder).
• Active US government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards, apps, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows.
• Create self-service capabilities for operators to explore data.
• Develop data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS/Palantir stack.
• Ensure data accuracy and surface model outputs to operations.
• Create visualizations and interactive tools for data exploration and KPI tracking.
• Optimize performance with scalable MSS solutions and caching/aggregation.
