DataMasters seeks an experienced Senior MSP Systems Engineer / Level 3 Technician in High Point, NC. This onsite role offers $85K-$100K DOE, a full-time schedule, and the opportunity to own complex infrastructure projects with minimal after-hours work.

The candidate will manage Windows Server/AD, advanced networking, 365/Intune, and security disciplines, while collaborating with executives and clients within a ~45 mile radius. No nights or weekends required.

Formación

• 5+ years IT experience; 8+ preferred
• 3+ years MSP or multi-client environment
• Strong Windows Server / Active Directory infrastructure
• Advanced networking and firewall skills
• Microsoft 365 and Entra ID beyond basic administration
• Experience with managed security and BCDR
• PowerShell for M365 administration/troubleshooting
• ConnectWise and ITGlue experience is valuable; Intune is a plus

Responsabilidades

• You are the final technical escalation point for complex infra work.
• Own migrations, domain controller upgrades, and network rebuilds from assessment to finish.
• Configure firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and security controls as needed.
• Work independently with business owners/executives and own project outcomes.

What You’ll Own

You’re the final technical escalation point and the engineer trusted with complex infrastructure work.

Think:

AD DNS DHCP Group Policy Windows Server Hyper-V/VMware Microsoft 365 Entra ID Conditional Access PowerShell Firewalls VLANs Routing VPNs Wireless EDR Backup/DR

You’ll inherit environments, figure out what’s really happening, and make them better.

That could mean replacing an aging domain controller, migrating Microsoft 365, rebuilding a flat network, configuring firewalls and VLANs, recovering a compromised environment, or building an infrastructure environment from the ground up.

You don’t hand the plan to somebody else. You own the work.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of IT experience; 8+ preferred
• 3+ years in an MSP or multi-client environment

• Comfortable working independently and directly with business owners/executives

Certifications are welcome, but we care more about what you’ve actually owned.
