Job summary

Morris Business Solutions in Duncan, SC seeks an experienced IT Level 3 Engineer to join the MBS IT division. This senior role handles escalations, Microsoft cloud administration, server management, networking, cybersecurity, and complex infrastructure troubleshooting.

The candidate will mentor Level 1/2 technicians, contribute to projects, and work exclusively on MBS IT, excluding PaperCut tasks. Must have MSP experience and strong expertise with Intune, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server,

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional IT experience.
• Experience working in an MSP environment or supporting multiple business clients.
• Demonstrated Level 3 or senior escalation experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, Hyper-V or similar virtualization, business networking/firewalls, backup and disaster recovery, and endpoint security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex issues that cannot be resolved by Level 1 or Level 2 technicians.
• Troubleshoot advanced workstation, server, network, Microsoft 365, identity, application, and connectivity issues.
• Take ownership of escalated incidents through resolution and implement long-term solutions based on root-cause analysis.
• Assist with critical outages, security incidents, and high-impact client issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party support when advanced escalation is required.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
• Document repeatable resolutions and technical procedures.
