Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison – Rheumatology to cover the Pacific Northwest, based in Portland. You will build scientific engagements, engage with KOLs and health care teams, and translate complex data into meaningful discussions for clinicians.

You will collaborate across Medical Affairs, R&D, and field teams, delivering evidence-based education and supporting investigator-initiated studies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience as an MSL or in a medical affairs role preferred.
• Strong scientific and therapeutic expertise with data analysis and clinical reasoning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement territory scientific engagement plans in line with Medical Affairs strategy.
• Engage with KOLs/HCPs to exchange balanced scientific information and address educational gaps.
• Provide actionable insights to inform medical strategy, asset planning and cross-functional discussions.
• Support investigators and internal partners for company-sponsored or investigator-initiated studies.
• Travel within the territory up to 70% to support activities and education.
