Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Rheumatology to cover the Pacific Northwest region including Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Northern California. You will act as a field-based scientific expert, building relationships with KOLs and healthcare teams to inform medical strategy and patient care.

The role emphasizes strong scientific acumen, 2+ years MSL experience, and up-to-date knowledge of immunology and rheumatology

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience, including demonstrated success as an MSL.
• Ability to support a defined territory with up to 70% travel.
• Strong scientific acumen and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.
• Engage in high quality two-way scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs.
• Identify professional relationships to advance scientific credibility in the territory.
• Leverage insights to enhance medical impact and strategic planning.
• Deliver scientific data tailored to HCP needs with balanced, evidence-based dialogue.
• Support investigator-initiated studies and provide compliant scientific information.
