Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison to cover Obesity & Related Conditions in IA/NE/SD. The role focuses on peer-to-peer scientific exchange with Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals, supporting the obesity pipeline and sponsored research where applicable.

You will build strong external relationships, lead knowledge sharing, and mentor junior MSLs while maintaining regulatory compliance and field observations to guide strategy.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or equivalent with Medical Affairs experience.
• Master’s degree with several years in Medical Affairs.
• Bachelor’s degree with substantial Medical Affairs background.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other HCPs.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support the obesity pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data to PHDMs and institutions to improve patient outcomes.
• Mentor other MSLs as designated by leadership.
• Complete administrative responsibilities and training (CRM, expenses, compliance).
