Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Associate Director) in Nephrology.

The role provides clinical and economic evidence to support patient care, engages researchers and clinicians, and collaborates with ecosystem partners to align regional medical strategies. The MSL will cover multiple products, contribute to trials, and may participate in speaker bureau activities while traveling up to 70% of the time, depending on territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs.
• Experience supporting nephrology programs or other medical affairs roles.
• Strong understanding of health systems and patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, scientific and health economic information related to nephrology and immunology.
• Engage with Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, healthcare providers, and patient groups.
• Lead internal cross-functional collaboration to shape regional medical strategies.
• Disseminate disease state information and support training of speakers.
• Assist with clinical trials program and health economic outcomes research.
