Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL) to join our field-based Medical Affairs team in the US. This role covers the Florida/Georgia Territory and requires collaboration with neurology and epilepsy thought leaders to advance our science and therapies.

The Sr MSL will build KOL relationships, deliver scientific education, support clinical development, and provide medical information to healthcare professionals, payers, and committees, while traveling 60–80%.

Qualifications

• MS degree in scientific and/or medical discipline required.
• MD, PharmD, or PhD strongly preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Science Liaison is preferred.
• Proven ability to partner and maintain medical community relationships.
• Excellent presentation and teaching skills with strong pharmaceutical knowledge.
• Clinical or research experience in neurology/epilepsy and cannabinoid science is a plus.
• Knowledge of US regulatory guidelines for interactions with healthcare professionals is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% and live within 30 miles of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• KOL development and field engagement in neurology & epilepsy
• Develop territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategies
• Collaborate across functions to maximize territory opportunities
• Identify and communicate clinical and research issues from KOLs to appropriate departments
• Participate in medical education for healthcare professionals through on-site presentations and meetings
• Provide scientific support to formulary committees and payers in collaboration with market access
• Lead medical congress staffing, advisory boards and training initiatives
